I’m excited to announce that I’ve been interviewed about my former life in Kyoto, Japan! Christy and Scott of Ordinary Traveler also picked my brains for the insider’s scoop on amazing places to visit, things to do, and budget tips for traveling to one of the world’s most expensive countries. Now that the Japanese yen has been holding super strong at under 80 yen / $1 US for a year, costs to western travelers visiting Japan are even higher than last decade. I hope these tips will help anyone hankering to travel to the amazing, unique, and culturally-rich country of Japan, one of my ultra-favorite countries in the world.
