Both of my guidebooks to Bali were  published at the end of July, 2011, and are on sale! Go hiking or cycling in Bali, Indonesia!

Both guidebooks give detailed information about arriving and traveling through Bali. I’ve included arrival at Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport, visa options, food, transportation, money exchange, WiFi and internet access, mobile phone use, supplies, accommodation, transportation and medical facilities, cultural considerations, interacting with locals, basic language guide and a glossary of common Indonesian words. Both books are chock full of photos and maps. They also include an extensive chapter on staying healthy in the tropics.

The Cycling Bali guidebook further explains road, weather, topography and cycling conditions in Bali plus a detailed explanation of preparing to cycle-travel, including training, what to take cycling, tool kits and parts, bike maintenance, and even how to take your bike on an airplane.   READ MORE

eBook version

Both books are currently available in 4 formats:

1. soft cover print version- available at CreateSpace and Amazon (links below)
2.  THREE eBook versions- available here on this page (links below)
The eBook versions are currently available in .pdf format, ePUB format, and Kindle format.

Pdf is best for reading on computers, laptops, and Macs. It can also be read on most eReaders, esp. larger eReaders, but the files will not adjust to the screen size, so formatting is not the best.

ePUB format can be read on ALL eReaders, except Kindle. You can read ePUB books on ALL Apple readers: iPod, iPad, iPhone plus Nook, Kobo, Android, Nokia, Sony Reader, Adobe, all smart phones and MobiPocket.  Rumors are that as of November, Kindles will also be able to read ePUB books! That’s why I’m holding off on offering the Kindle version.
